Delivery Policy

Welcome to Better Home Furniture & Mattress! We're excited to get your order to you as quickly and efficiently as possible. Below, you'll find all the details you need about our delivery policy. If you have any questions or need further assistance, please don't hesitate to contact our store.

Cancellation Policy

  • Full Refunds: You are entitled to a full refund for all cancellations, including special orders, made within 24 hours of purchase.
  • Processing Fee: After the 24-hour grace period, a 35% processing fee will be deducted from the price of the products. This policy also applies to exchanges.
  • Refund Method: Refunds will be issued to the original payment method. If the purchase was made by cash, a refund check will be mailed within thirty (30) days. Please note, checks can only be issued to the person(s) listed as the "Sold To" party on the original sales order.
  • State Law Compliance: This policy does not affect your rights under any state law in the event of a late or nonconforming delivery.

Returns Policy

  • Return Notification: For returns due to preference, customers must contact Better Home Furniture Customer Service within 2 days after delivery.
  • Refunds: Protection plans will be refunded. However, the delivery fee is non-refundable.
  • Condition: Returned furniture must be in "new" condition.
  • Fees: A 35% restocking fee, a pickup fee of $199, and an additional delivery charge will be applied. All fees must be paid by cash, debit, or credit card.
  • Return Deadline: No returns will be accepted after 3 days from the delivery date.
  • Customer Responsibility: It is the customer's responsibility to ensure that all purchased products fit through their home's doorways, hallways, and stairways.
  • Online Purchases: For online purchases, returns must be made at one of our stores or at one of our warehouses.

Delivery Policy

  • Scheduling: Once all items have arrived, our delivery team will contact you to schedule a delivery date and provide a time window. Please note that this time window cannot be changed due to logistical reasons necessary to complete deliveries within your region.
  • Warranties: We do not grant or imply warranties of performance on any product.
  • Reporting Damage: Any damage to the furniture must be reported within 24 hours of delivery.
  • Missed Delivery: If the customer is not at home on the scheduled delivery day, we will reschedule the delivery, but an additional delivery fee will be required.

Pickup Policy

  • Pickup Location: All pickups must be done at our warehouse. Small items, such as wall art, lamps, and rugs, can be picked up at one of our stores. Larger items must be picked up exclusively at the warehouse.
  • Customer Responsibility: It is the customer's responsibility to inspect all products in perfect condition on the day of pickup.
  • No Complaints: Once the products have been picked up, no complaints regarding their condition will be accepted.

Warranty Policy

  • Warranty Claims: For any warranty claims, the damaged part will be removed and replaced with a new one.
  • Mattress Warranty Requirements: Mattress warranty claims must be reported within 3 days of delivery. To be eligible for the warranty, the mattress must meet the following criteria, as specified by the manufacturer:
    • Be supported by the proper foundation.
    • Be free from stains or dirt.
    • Exhibit sagging of at least 1.5 inches.
  • Warranty Process: Better Home Furniture will facilitate communication with the supplier regarding the warranty claim. However, the final determination of warranty eligibility is at the discretion of the supplier.
  • Mattress Returns and Exchanges: Mattresses cannot be returned or exchanged due to their personal-use nature. It is recommended that customers allow 30 to 90 days for mattress adaptation.
  • Pickup Fee for Warranty: Approved warranty claims for mattress returns or exchanges will incur a $199 pickup fee.
